The name
सेतुबंध — setu, a bridge, and bandh, to bind or build: the bridge built across the sea in the Ramayana. A forwarder does the same every day, joining shipper, carrier and consignee across the water.
Our story
Setubandh is software for freight forwarders. Its name and its mark come from the same idea: the work of joining one shore to another.
Setubandh सेतुबंध
सेतुबंध — setu, a bridge, and bandh, to bind or build: the bridge built across the sea in the Ramayana. A forwarder does the same every day, joining shipper, carrier and consignee across the water.
The first syllable, से (“Se”), drawn as a bridge over water: its headline is the deck, its stem the pier, its curving body the wave beneath, and the e-mātrā above, in saffron, the spark of the crossing.
Deep teal — the sea, steadiness, trust in the record. Saffron — warmth and energy, kept for one accent, as in the app’s single call to action.
Original drawing; two colours at most; legible at 16 px in a browser tab; one ink in mono; Devanagari roots with a Latin wordmark for every reader.
Setubandh is built in Indore, India. Every change is checked automatically before it ships: the tests run, and a fresh copy of the whole system is started and exercised from end to end. Each company’s data is kept apart by the database itself, not only by the application.
