Refunds and cancellation
Version 0.1 (draft) · Last updated
Draft. This text describes Setubandh as it runs today. It is a working draft and may change before it is final; the version and date above change with it.
This page explains how a company cancels a Setubandh subscription and when fees are refunded. The order form a company signs sets its plan, fees and term; where the order form says something different, the order form wins.
1. Cancelling
- A company can cancel its subscription by writing to billing@setubandh.co.in from an administrator's e-mail address, giving the company name.
- Unless the order form says otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the subscription does not renew after it. Access continues until then.
- We confirm the cancellation by e-mail within 7 working days.
- After cancellation the company can export its data as the terms of service describe; we then delete it as the privacy policy describes.
2. Refunds
- Unless the order form says otherwise, fees for a billing period that has started are not refunded when a company cancels.
- If we end the subscription without the company being at fault — or the company ends it because of our material breach — we refund the fees paid for the unused part of the period.
- If a company is charged twice or charged the wrong amount, we refund the difference.
- Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 7 working days of approval. The time the money takes to reach the account after that depends on the bank or payment provider.
3. Pilot and trial periods
If an order form gives a free pilot or trial, there is nothing to refund for it, and it ends as the order form says.
